对轮联轴器惯性主轴线与旋转轴线之间重心位置偏心量的可能值是平方和方根值而决定的,主要由两半联轴器和联接螺栓组成,对轮联轴器轴套孔装配前,镗削切割和键槽的修整联轴器端面和其它表面的加工等。半联轴器的轴套孔有圆锥孔和圆柱孔两种形式,圆锥孔比圆柱孔在工艺特性上有较多的特点,圆锥形轴套孔容易获得相配合部件之间的同心。
对轮联轴器在工作过程中,并且会带来燃油消耗空气污染等后果,由于承受咬入冲击动载荷,使得联轴器受到峰值转矩,联轴器承载能力下降,并在短时间内失效,从而直接影响其正常工作,其中的较薄弱环节进行替换或维修是重要和实用的。联轴器两轴相对半径变位要求较好,找耦合同心度为0.2~0.6mm,存在很大困难。如果在驾驶过程中螺栓松动,泵装置的振动和噪音可能会变大。
