鼓型齿式联轴器是一种特别设计的先进齿式联轴器，其外齿制成球面，球面的中心在齿轮的轴线上，齿侧的间隙比一般产品稍大，鼓形齿联轴器可以传递较大的扭矩和允许较大的角位移，性能优异且寿命更加长久。

GL滚子链联轴器利用共用链条将两个带链齿的半联啮合联接，从而传递扭矩的联轴器，结构简单，装拆方便，安装精度要求低，有一定的补偿能力。

滚子链联轴器是利用公用的链条，同时与两个齿数相同的并列链轮啮合。不同结构型式的滚子链联轴器主要区别是采用不同的链条，常见的有双排滚子链联轴器、单排滚子链联轴器、齿形链联轴器、尼龙链联轴器等。
